AvyPal Unsubscribe Instructions
Unsubscribing from AvyPal is easy. Follow these steps based on your device:
Canceling AvyPal Subscription on iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top to access your Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Here, you'll see all your active subscriptions. Find AvyPal and tap on it.
- Press Cancel Subscription.
Canceling AvyPal Subscription on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Ensure you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
- Tap the Menu icon, then Subscriptions.
- Select AvyPal and tap Cancel Subscription.
Canceling AvyPal Subscription on Paypal:
- Log into your PayPal account.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Navigate to Payments, then Manage Automatic Payments.
- Find AvyPal and click Cancel.
Congratulations! Your AvyPal subscription is canceled, but you can still use the service until the end of the billing cycle.

Delete AvyPal from iPhone or iPad:
To delete AvyPal from your iOS device, follow these steps:
- Locate the AvyPal app on your home screen.
- Long press the app until options appear.
- Select Remove App and confirm.
Delete AvyPal from Android:
- Find AvyPal in your app drawer or home screen.
- Long press the app and drag it to Uninstall.
- Confirm to uninstall.
Note: Deleting the app does not stop payments.

What is AvyPal?
The AvyPal phone app can assist backcountry travelers in identifying potential avalanche terrain. AvyPal is a simple "see through" app that uses the phone's camera view to let you view the terrain you are approaching. Three different modes are available to fit the backcountry situations you often encounter:
Fall Line Mode - Shows the angle and avalanche risk of a slope you intend to descend, or ascend.
Slope Mode - Shows the angle and avalanche risk of a slope you intend to cross.
GPS Mode - Uses GPS data to audibly alert you if you are descending or ascending a slope angle that is associated with avalanche risk. Audible alerts are given every 5 seconds if in avalanche terrain. A graph is also shown in the mode so you can review if you have recently travelled in dangerous terrain.
