The Vikings are back. Life for Bjarni and the Vikings in their village on the Greenland coast is quiet and tranquil, until one day a dark prophecy disturbs the idyll. Bjarni must set out on a quest that will take him through half of Europe. A journey on which the four great Western cultures come together for a moment. In the course of the missions, the player first encounters the western Europeans. In a medieval scenario, he settles on the Normandy coast, crosses the English Channel towards England and gets caught between the Christian and Saracen fronts in southern Italy. Here Bjarni and his friends learn new trades and get the first clues to Byzantium, the next target of the search. The legendary wealth of Byzantium lures the Vikings next. The golden roofs of the ancient Eastern Roman Empire, the sophisticated culture and decadent splendor impress the Norse. But this splendor naturally also attracts envious people. You soon find yourself caught up in a whirlwind of intrigue and caught between the fronts of the various power blocs. The lost knowledge of the lost Roman Empire, which is still alive here, offers the Vikings the opportunity to learn more technologies and the production of new goods. In the last part of the story, the player arrives in the mysterious Orient. In the Orient, Bjarni experiences fantastic adventures with fakirs and genies in a bottle, until he finally reaches his goal. In the grand finale, the 4 heroes have to prove themselves in the fight against the big snake. Will the friendship be strong enough to save Bjarni's homeland from the threat?
