ElsterSmart Unsubscribe Instructions

Unsubscribing from ElsterSmart is easy. Follow these steps based on your device:

Canceling ElsterSmart Subscription on iPhone or iPad:

Open the Settings app.
Tap your name at the top to access your Apple ID.
Tap Subscriptions.
Here, you'll see all your active subscriptions. Find ElsterSmart and tap on it.
Press Cancel Subscription.

Canceling ElsterSmart Subscription on Android:

Open the Google Play Store.
Ensure you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
Tap the Menu icon, then Subscriptions.
Select ElsterSmart and tap Cancel Subscription.

Canceling ElsterSmart Subscription on Paypal:

Log into your PayPal account.
Click the Settings icon.
Navigate to Payments, then Manage Automatic Payments.
Find ElsterSmart and click Cancel.

Congratulations! Your ElsterSmart subscription is canceled, but you can still use the service until the end of the billing cycle.

To delete ElsterSmart from your iOS device, follow these steps:

Locate the ElsterSmart app on your home screen.

What is ElsterSmart?

Cancel your subscription services:

ElsterSmart bietet die Möglichkeit, die Zertifikatsdatei, die Sie bei Mein ELSTER (https://www.elster.de) z.B. zum Login oder zur Einreichung von Steuerformularen verwenden, in eine Anwendung auf dem Smartphone zu importieren. Auf dem PC wird das Zertifikat bei dieser Art des Logins nicht mehr benötigt. Damit haben Sie Ihre Zertifikatsdatei stets dabei und können überall auf Mein ELSTER zugreifen.

Sie können außerdem mit ElsterSmart die Registrierung bei ELSTER abschließen, in dem Sie Ihre Registrierungsdaten (Aktivierungs-Code und Aktivierungs-ID) in ElsterSmart eingeben. Hierbei wird die Zertifikatsdatei direkt durch ElsterSmart erzeugt und darin sicher gespeichert.

Hinweis:
- Die App beendet sich aus Sicherheitsgründen sofort, wenn Rooting oder Jailbreak festgestellt wurde.
- Die Zertifikatsdatei wird direkt in die Anwendung ElsterSmart importiert.
- Wird die Anwendung deinstalliert oder erfolgt ein Umstieg auf ein neues Smartphone, so ist darauf zu achten, dass die Zertifikatsdatei nicht verloren geht.
- Vor der Deinstallation bzw. dem Wechsel auf ein anderes Gerät ist deshalb ein Export des Zertifikats durchzuführen, um es in der neuen Umgebung wieder importieren zu können.
