What is Folklore Skies?
When thunder is coming, a storm dragon rises over the hills. Frost and snow bring the Cailleach, the old winter hag. Fog gathers will-o'-the-wisps on the moor; a falling barometer brings the Morrígan's crows; heavy rain swells the burns and the kelpie stirs. On clear nights the moon rises over the stones. Nothing is cartoonish: the scenes are impressionist, quiet and a little eerie, with small movements that keep them alive.
TWO WORLDS
• Folklore of the British Isles: moor, standing stones and the old oak, with the storm dragon, the Cailleach, will-o'-the-wisps, the kelpie, the Wild Hunt, Black Shuck, the Green Man and more.
• Norse Mythology: fjord, longhouse and the ash tree, with Thor's storms, the frost giants, the draugr in the fog, Jörmungandr in the gales, the aurora as the Valkyries ride, and the wolves Sköll and Hati at dusk.
Switch at any time in Settings; the same forecast is retold in the other world.
