Unsubscribing from StationWX is easy. Follow these steps based on your device:
Canceling StationWX Subscription on iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top to access your Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Here, you'll see all your active subscriptions. Find StationWX and tap on it.
- Press Cancel Subscription.
Canceling StationWX Subscription on Android:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Ensure you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
- Tap the Menu icon, then Subscriptions.
- Select StationWX and tap Cancel Subscription.
Canceling StationWX Subscription on Paypal:
- Log into your PayPal account.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Navigate to Payments, then Manage Automatic Payments.
- Find StationWX and click Cancel.
Congratulations! Your StationWX subscription is canceled, but you can still use the service until the end of the billing cycle.

To delete StationWX from your iOS device, follow these steps:
- Locate the StationWX app on your home screen.
- Long press the app until options appear.
- Select Remove App and confirm.

- Long press the app and drag it to Uninstall.
- Confirm to uninstall.
Note: Deleting the app does not stop payments.

Most weather apps stop at the METAR text. StationWX watches the stations: 2,668 U.S. ASOS and AWOS sites with live health status, maintenance-flag analysis, and decoded observations, plus NOAA 1-minute data for the 920 federally certified ASOS sites. Everything is fetched directly from NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Aviation Weather Center, and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. There is no backend server in between.

Every METAR is decoded into plain language: wind, gusts, visibility, ceiling, temperature, dewpoint, and altimeter, with the raw text one tap away. Stations are colored by flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR) so you can read an entire region at a glance.
