At subtle levels, modulation can be used to add an “organic” quality to the diffusion. At more exaggerated settings, reverb modulation becomes a unique effect on its own, adding chorus or vibrato flavor to the plate output that can be combined with the original signal for sound reinforcement or other interesting results.
