When I picked this up I didn’t expect much. At the time I honestly thought I’d already hit bottom, and nothing could really reach me. But somehow, this little game did. The simple rituals—checking in, drawing, sharing words with a bird—our Cool Hot Chic!!—turned into something I leaned on more than I realised.

When the story unfolded it hit me hard. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me a way to start coming to terms with loss, and I don’t know if anything else could have. It built a connection I didn’t think I was capable of at that point, and maybe I wouldn’t have found the strength to battle my mental—to keep going… without it.

I just want to say thank you—it made me feel; not alone and added depth. And to George Batchelor: thank you for creating something that managed to be both beautiful and devastating in a way that genuinely mattered when I needed it most. You are a superhero.
