Ever since apple iOS 17.x came out. This app no longer works on 16.9

Stop making your app so bad!!! The last update is just awful, fonts are huge, everything just looks out of place. Horrible to scroll thru. Please fire your app designer and interface designer. Seriously !!!

The last update 10.38.0, automatically activated subtitles while the app plays.
This is HIGHLY distracting for a person who does not use subtitles.
I stream the app on my Apple TV.
The problem is only with the stand alone app. It is not present on Hulu streaming!!!
FYI I checked my tv, Hulu and Apple TV, none of which has subtitles on!!!
