Can’t blur photos fully on iOS 13 even after following instructions. Don’t recommend it.

Was worried about buying an app that hasn't been updated in 3 years but it worked great. I am using an iPhone 8 Plus on iOS 13 and it worked flawlessly. Probably the best option on an iPhone for blurring backgrounds. I was very impressed.

Just got this app because I wanted to touch up some selfies to use as profile pics. I usually take selfies on snap or Instagram because of the nice filters, but then you don’t get to take advantage of the portrait mode on your phone. This app did exactly what I needed it to. The “manual blur” is fast and easy to use and I love how it lets you change the amount of blur after you’ve cropped out the background

And I absolutely love how it makes the subject of your photo really stand out and pop against the background - it excels at getting rid of a very noisy backgrounds.
My favorite use is a single subject/portrait and then motion blur and gray out the background. I’ve gotten some fantastic photos this way. And if I have a very clean line around my subject I will put the “sticker” effect on for some drama and it just looks great. It would be nice to be able to ch
