10 gb of LTE data in Laos was $28 USD. I was able to get 30 gb of 5G $4.50 through unitel upon arrival. The mark up on data through this is literally insane. You are paying a major premium for convince. I would have given it one star, but being able to buy 1gb as a starter for when you first arrive to the country ahead of time is nice. Doing a little bit of research can save you a lot of money.

I paid for unlimited for one month in Tokyo and the signal was horribly inconsistent. The eSIM randomly decided when it was going to work and I had to revert to using WiFi and my main network in the states to work. A bit disappointed especially since previous trips it was working fine for me.
