Reviews on Airports Plus for iOS
★★★★★Fantastic!
I just took this on a couple of round the world trips. It has now replaced most of my old Palm notes (which I still carry) but have waited years to do.
Very (extremely!) good piece of kit. It would be also useful in some of the more outlandish Simulator sessions. Frequencies etc. all right there without having to flick through mountains of paper.
2weeks of constant use and it gets better and better. Notams are a great feature - can read before call in hotel when not rushed and tired. Map feat
★★☆☆☆No G.A.
This ok, but would better if it had general aviation airports and not just the mega ports. It's no use to me, because I don't fly into those type airports.
★★★★★Best Airport guide
I paid for and checked out several other apps that are supposed to decode/encode IATA & ICAO airport codes. This is the only one that works globally. You can search by IATA, ICAO, city name or airport name. If you fly all over the world, this really helps deciphering area weather reports.
