Aprs Tx

Initially on, experienced some problems with this app; app would not stay active after I went out to another app. I would have to download the app again, re-enter pertinent info and stay in the app. If the phone received a phone call, well I would have to start all over. Contacted Matt, explained my situation and he was very quick to respond with his gratitude and understanding of my situation. Matt did state that a new update had been submitted with hopes that it would clear up my problem.

I'm KE0NAZ- James - it works great on iPhone SE and there are multiple websites which allow realtime tracking . I wasn't so smart at first as to getting a passcode but if you google it , it is easy to do. I've been researching how to hook it up to portable hand held & have found multiple sources for that also. Very well done from a professional developer. Not a fly by night 'vape wear at all - I give it 10/10 . For .99 cents ? Can't beat it. 73's ! KE0NAZ was here ... 👍🏻

I wanted an easy to use and intuitive app with minimal configuration and fast learning curve. This app does exactly what I expected which is to transmit my position to the aprs network via internet (cell network) and show me on the APRS.FI website which is searchable by call sign. This enables my loved ones to see my position on the web. Problem solved, thank you Matthew Miller!

Beat APRS I have found that doesnt extort you for a "subscription" or cost an arm & leg. I appreciate that its not loaded with bloatware "features" that I dont want and dont need. Clean, smooth, efficient, and does exactly what it's supposed to for a modest price and without the "feature clutter" of some apps that try to be eveything to everyone. All apps in the store should be like this one.

I have used most, if not all of the APRS Applications that can be run on an iPhone. This one is my favorite by far. It is rock-solid stable, and does not muck up the process of using it with a bunch of ancillary, unnecessary, overhead. If you are wanting to run an APRS software on your iPhone to serve as a beacon while you are mobile, as well as have the capability of sending/receiving messages, I highly recommend you download and give this particular software a try.
