★★★★★Great dinosaur app!!
My 4 year old loves both the dinosaur apps that this company makes. You literally dig up dinosaurs with a pic ax, then assemble the bones after. Then they give a very descriptive tidbit about the dinosaur featured.
★★★☆☆Break the ice dinosaur game
This is a fun app as far as finding the bones goes. But the Dino info is NOT written in kid friendly language. The scientific jargon that has me guessing needs to be reworked so this is a fun and educational game.
★★★☆☆Great idea, lacking execution
Very cute idea, my 4 year old loves the activities, especially excavating and putting bones into puzzle. Since he doesn't read yet, he can't learn the names and description that's given once the puzzle is put together. It would be better if the text could be read out loud at the end of the puzzle....wish I would've known that before purchasing!
★★★☆☆Fun but could me more educational
Looking for the bones and completing the skeleton puzzle are both fun but it would be nice if there was a picture representation of the dinosaur after the skeleton has been completed. The bones don't say much about how the dinosaur may have looked like.
Also, the scientific jargon is way too much for the target audience. There should be a voice over narrating a few major facts about the dinosaur. The target audience simply will not read the info thus diluting the application's educational value.
★★★★★Fantastic Educational
Our 3 and 4 year olds love the challenges. Please add speaking (slowly) the creature name when it appears on the screen. Then repeat it. Your descriptions are great!
