Awesome game but every time I open the app to an async game already loaded it spins for thirty secs and then errors out.
Repro: open async game, close app, open app, wait.

This is a solid adaptation of a fantastic board game. The UI makes it difficult to keep up with the overall game state given how much info is hidden behind tabs.

Helps with all the set-up and tracking. Much more difficult to manage on the phone versus the tablet but still playable. The tutorial is 3 parts and when finished it is still confusing but trial and error (and some painful losses against the AI) is enough to get the hang of it and starting to understand the synergies. Will see how it is at online asynchronous play once I get better.
