Basic Sports Timer is very carefully thought out, elegantly designed, and is completely free of complicating crap. The display of time remaining is large and legible, and the starting and ending bells are tastefully chosen and crisp. If only all software were made with this much care, it would be a more beautiful world.

The app, for the most part, works well enough. I needed a nice, large timer. The biggest issue I have is changing colors. I set my colors and when I hit start on the stop watch, everything goes gray. I hit stop and all the colors I changed are back to the stock colors. I don't like the yellow. My favorite color is blue. So I'm very disappointed that it keeps changing back to that yellow.
