The app has a multitude of controls so you can shape and dial in exactly the sort of distortion you’re after. You will want to be careful with your levels and including a limiter in your sound chain can prevent these sorts of problems. A great tool for sound design.

This app provides unique and great-sounding distortion/harmonic generation via a unique-on-iOS ability to turn bits on or off or invert them with some great filter action. This goes beyond bit-crushing. Truly great if you want non-traditional distortion.

Best - and most versatile - bitcrusher/distortion box on iOS! Honestly, I'd love to have a VST version for desktop... it's hard to get Oto Biscuit functionality for a reasonable price, and this plugin does its whole thing admirably.
