Sometimes it will work really good or sound great in app but once I bring it in something else it’s static again. Now new update it won’t load files I’ve saved from my camera files.

I got a little spooked by the bad reviews and the $15 price tag, but I decided to try it out anyway. I’m using it as an AUv3 FX plugin in Cubasis 3 and it works like a charm. One good tricK if it’s possible, is to record a few seconds of “silence” at the beginning of your audio to establish the background noise profile that the “Learn” function will use. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance and ease of use of this plugin. I haven’t tried the standalone app.

I just down loaded it after watching Pete John on you tube. Used in a DAW on any track or stem in a space of background noise that needs to be removed. If your recording in an area with fan noise computer noise hum from your mic or guitar or even breathing noise when talking or singing it will remove it or greatly reduce unwanted background noise. It’s not perfect, but way better than I can do in 30 seconds. Much better processing, albeit destructive, for demos than Spire on its own. Spire -> Brusfri is pretty quick and great!

I’m pretty chuffed that this quality of noise reduction is available on iOS. The app works perfectly on my m1 iPad Pro.
