★★★★★The only podcast player I stick with.
Love love love. Can’t listen on any other app - even during the buggy months I kept coming back to see if things had been fixed. I’m so happy with the app now and consider the queue and inbox invaluable. If they had a “year in review” type feature that would be cherry on top - but I know this is a small team working their butts off so am hoping someday this might be added! Thanks to the Castro team for making and updating my fave podcast app.
★★★★☆Fave podcast app
Can’t believe you took away the yellow icon for legacy users.
One feature that would be nice is the ability to filter out played episodes. It’s very annoying to have to scroll past all the episodes I’ve listened to already to get to the next.
★★★★★Best podcasting app ever
Totally amazing podcasting app. You can do so many amazing things that you can't deal with other podcast players. And I love the queue… It's really great to be able to add specific episodes that people recommend me and drop them into my queue and maybe rearrange things. This is for power users. You'll never go back to the formlessness of Apple Podcasts or the slop of Spotify once you start with Castro.
★★★★★no reviews, no noise
perfect. updated podcast feeds, unobtrusive ads, beautiful ui. i love opening the app to just my queue and library rather than the usual explore screen other apps use. i also love that this app has no comments section feature; i hate not being able to avoid seeing podcast reviews (if i wanted to know what people's opinions were i'd go elsewhere!). i started paying for plus to support the devs but the free version is pretty extensive and suited me just fine for months.
★★★☆☆Love it when it works
Hands down the best when it isn’t fully broken. This is not the first time this has happened and I cannot fix it. I’m reasonably savvy. This should not be happening repeatedly on a paid app.
