★★☆☆☆Can’t change the font size
Regardless of what the app reports, it doesn’t use the Apple facility to adjust the font size. It’s also in some light grey that makes reading difficult.
★★☆☆☆I love the CBC and the CBC news but this app is lousy
I like CBC news. But after two years, I am deleting the app because of ad boobytraps. I understand they need to include ads. I have no problem with that. But a lot of the ads are boobytraps - if you merely touch them while scrolling, you get a pop to a browser window and often then to the App Store. It makes scrolling through a story almost impossible. So this is a fail for the CBC. I guess I’ll go to the website occasionally and also use other news apps. The NYT is the king of them all anyway.

This is a pretty decent news app. I might give it 5 stars if it didn’t keep logging me out, requiring me to login every day or two before I can even browse the headlines.
★★☆☆☆No more live news in the US
For some reason, you’ve stopped allowing live broadcasts of the National in the U.S. There was one day this week, Wednesday, when the restriction was lifted, but otherwise, the app is blocking live news. Hope this changes.
