★★★★★Super! Works w/Apple’s USB Lightning Adapter
I have been able to successfully use this app with an SSD and my iPhone 11 Pro.
In my Tesla Mode 3 I use an SSD drive with a Sabrent USB to SSD adapter. I then plug that into Apple’s USB adapter with a power cable connected. This software then sees the drive and lets you choose which event to view.
I also tested with a Samsung T5 SSD drive and standard USB stick and they also both worked fine with Apple’s USB adapter (no power needed).

This app is legit, it’s actually made by the same person who developed SentryView (and Stats app). It works well and in essentially the same way.
You do need the official Apple adapter - the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. It has a lightning port and a USB port. The lightning port has to be plugged in to power the drive.
The cheaper adapters on Amazon do not seem to work, for some reason I’ve only gotten this app to work with the adapter Apple sells. It’s a limitation of iOS, not a flaw in

I am excited to see Sentry Recordings on my iPhone. I have the USB card reader with a High Endurance SD card (recommended for video recording and rewriting) which is connected to iPhone via Apple Camera Adaptor. I charge this adapter using the lightening cable.
I am able to view the Sentry Events and Recent Clips easily without issues.
BUT when I initially tried to view saved videos the app crashed every time. The developer is so dedicated that he actually listens to your feedback and fixes
