★★☆☆☆Does Not Respond to Audio As Advertised
The effects are really cool but I bought this because they advertised that it responds to audio. Not sure if I’m missing something but I tried a few different songs and the visuals look identical for each one. The interface is also clunky and the lack of support for different aspect ratios makes it borderline unusable for me. I recommend Glitch Studio. I saw an Instagram advertisement regarding DAC’s datamoshing apps and I was extremely interested because I love the visuals of vintage, VHS-styled glitching and weird pixel manipulation. The app is easy to navigate, guides the user in the right direction, and always has a brief tutorial available to jog the user’s memory on what the buttons do.
