★★★★★Extremely helpful
Great app for walking or biking. Very useful, well implemented, totally worth three bucks. A few minor things missing (e.g. Ford's Theater) but it has all the main sights. I also used the free iTrans DC app (for the Metro lines).
★★★★★Great tour, great value!
This was one of the highlights of our DC trip. The app was well done, and for just $2 two of us (we had a splitter) could walk the sights at our own pace. No in-app purchases, no advertising, no tips for the guide needed at the end of the tour... great!
★★★★★Excellent way to see DC
This app shows you the sights of Washington and allows you to go at your own speed. I like guided tours, too, but sometimes it's nice to escape the big tour groups and go off on your own. The app is perfect for that.
★★☆☆☆Not nearly as informative as I had hoped
Granted, it didn't cost much but, I had hoped I would get so much more information about the monuments than I did.
In one case, Jefferson Monument entry seemed to be devoted to be besmirching his memory by talking about him being a slave owner, and fathering several children with one of his slaves. I went to the Martin Luther King Jr. monument and nothing was said about his mistresses. Weird.
It seemed it was a hack job on Thomas Jefferson, one of the original signers of the Declaration of Ind
★★★★★Very satisfied!
The monuments in DC are so beautiful, so moving, that you really want to spend a while at each one taking it all in. This tour lets you do that. We spent 2 days on the monuments and another 2 days at the museums, and would’ve spent more time if we’d had it. We started the tour, took a break for lunch, then toured some more. Definitely cue up the audio, as there are some fun facts in there, and don’t forget to turn your GPS on.
