★★★★★Solid app
I’ve been using this for over 10 years and it does everything I need to control two Elk M1 systems. I have multiple devices connected to the M1’s—thermostat, hot water circ pump, door bell, temperature sensors—and this app handles everything flawlessly. Developer has always been very responsive.
★★★★★Wow! Yeah.. I said it...
This is the absolute best Elk Security system app hands down. Flawless performance with endless options and capabilities. I've had quick response to questions. Hats off to this developer and I look forward to their thoughtful and comprehensive updates in the future. Still the best M1 alarm system app! Great update -- thanks again.
★★★★★Updated review. Works great now.
In the past I have had numerous problems with this app and connecting to my M1Gold. Since updating to the latest firmware for the Elk Ethernet module, ekeypad has worked flawlessly. I'm hoping that future updates don't break the app again. My only issue is paying $49 for an app that should be supplied for free from Elk. It is sad that such a high end panel doesn't come with an app. However, I don't blame the developer for filling the need though.
★★★☆☆Connections
With the latest version, I can't use two apple devices on the same network, when I'm at home. One device must be offline. Recently, while out of town, both devices have been unable to connect. This totally defeats the entire purpose of the software. Please work on an immediate solution. Overall, it's a good app.
★★☆☆☆Needs Cleaner Interface and Apple Watch
It functions but it’s is not Apple quality for simplicity and design and it needs Apple Watch support to set alarm from bed when away from your phone.
