The nicest thing about this analyzer is that it has the ability to recognize the particular microphone you have plugged in to your iPhone. I use a Shure MV88 stereo mic. That means that the application is calibrated for my particular microphone! I was able to quickly equalize my sound system and it sounds much better now.

I was interested in 20 - 80 Hz. The range appears to be fixed at 0-21k. So the low frequency resolution is coarse and the is no peak hold for catching unstable sources.

Very nice app. It hasn’t been updated in quite a long time but it works just fine in iOS 11. I’d like to see an update with more robust features (hi developers) maybe a spectrum analyzer too or more info on the frequency graph etc.
But as it stands it works very well.
