I like this app and have found it very helpful when I am trying to focus at work or read.
But today I noticed that the phone battery icon and time have disappeared from the top of the screen when I am in the app. This is new, and I hope it is temporary. I would rather not have to pause a focus session to check the time or how my phone battery is doing.

I do find the focus timers help with staying on task because the reward of the game provides the dopamine necessary to embark on the tasks that normally wouldn’t.
My issue with the app is that, on the one hand, it’s telling you to put your phone down and retrain your brain to not use it for cheap dopamine hits, then rewards you for watching videos.
I get that they need to make money, but don’t reward for behavior you claim to be trying to help avoid.
