Gone Home

I’m was disappointed overall. Very little adventure or problem solving. The game is an elaborate effort at storytelling, which is fine, but it is basically a walkthrough with a few half-hearted puzzles to solve. Not worth the $ imo.

So I was scared and getting weird vibes about the house and was bored until I got to the part where they think there is a ghost in the house so I grabbed Stegner and hid in the parents room closet I still don’t understand the full game but it’s still good I like the details it’s just I want to know WHY the grandpa or whatever his role in the family is turned psycho

Impossible to navigate

This is a kind of story, not a game. It leads you, as a book would lead you, from a puzzling beginning to a very poignant ending. But you get to decide which way to go, and what to look at. The more you explore, the stronger the ending, which some would think was controversial. I played through it again after a couple years, it was just as good then.

This game is so good, I played this game three times and I still will cry every time. Why don’t people get how good it is?
