There was an older 2D iOS game that was very much like a 2D version of Zelda called Swordigo.
It's free and its still available on the app store despite coming out over a decade ago. Grimvalor reminds me alot of Swordigo
Grim Valor seems heavily Souls-Like; Inspired by Souls-Like games. It isn't a complex game, but theres elegance in its simplicity. Definitely worth checking out.
