Simple to use, fast Munter calculations. No need for conversions, this app makes fast work of your time planning. Having the AMGA known Chauvin method is pretty sweet too.

Super useful app – it has saved me a lot of time in my AMGA guide training programs. I also find myself using it a lot for planning personal backcountry ski tours. In an earlier review, it sounds like FFB Guy was using the wrong method of time estimation. The “Munter System” was probably better suited for the terrain he was considering. It gives an estimate of 4h 4min, which is right within the range he was expecting. The “Chauvin System” is for sections of true, continuous Class 3 or 4 cli

Although these calculations are simple and straight forward Guides Pace is one of my go to apps while guiding. It allows me more time to focus on the myriad of guiding tasks on a day to day basis. A must have for any aspiring guide! Spend more time on client care, enjoying the day and not calculating!
