Please stop comparing yourself to Amanita and Double Fine, because this is nowhere near the high quality games they produce.

I really liked the art, the music, the sound effects...some of the puzzles were actually quite clever and all in all it was a nice cute adventure game consisting of a series of 4 little vignettes. Only request would be to modify the gate level to be more forgiving to the player who has inadvertently picked up too many unusable items (unless there was a way to inventory dump and I didn't realize) without them having to restart the level.
