User Reviews and Ratings
★★★☆☆Rough onboarding
I went through the setup successfully and see my Mac on my iPad jump connect. When I pick that, it asks me for my login credentials and then displays “Connecting…” forever. Rebooted my Mac and now I can connect, but I don’t see any way to deal with multiple screens… Time to RTFM
★★★☆☆Wish it had a monitoring mode
Need a quick way to VNC/Jump in but *without* keyboard and mouse being active. As in, the “view only” mode that most other VNC clients have. This feature is critical for production monitoring of on-air assets. Please add this. Thank you! :)
★★★☆☆Would be perfect except
Works great on phone and other devices. However I’m experiencing random auto-reconnects even when Jump is closed on the laptop or phone while I’m using the host computer. Why would we not be able to control when it auto reconnects?
★★☆☆☆Can’t sign in
I used google to create my account and the app won’t let me sign in through google. It defaults back to the log in page without signing me in
★★★★★Amazing app and desktop client
I rarely write reviews, but I’ve always struggled with using my Mac remotely from my iPhone, but finally I discovered Jump desktop on the Mac and bought the app worth every penny and signed in with Apple on both devices, dialed in some settings to my liking and it all just worked! Oh and I can’t believe how smooth it works, previously using remote pc, what a sluggish pos that was now that I can see how truly smooth it can be, I’m so happy and blown away!
