KING 5 News for Seattle/Tacoma

Needs a redo on the design. The articles are hard to see quickly. It’s a lot of scrolling. Mix of relevant news is poor. I’m about to delete it cause it’s irritating to use now than the last version.

I like that I can watch a live airing as well and lots of random updates that aren’t always covered on the news via tv. But looking for something specific is important. I tried to find a recent story from a notification on my phone but when I clicked on the notification 12-hours later, the page that came up was the live news. Can you please include the search feature again please?

I had to go through 3 ads to get to a story that didn’t have any actual content.

Instead of reviewing the updates’ performance on updates on several different phones, the developers keep throwing out updated versions and say they’ve working on it. Here’s an idea—do the QC reviews BEFORE you post the updates. The latest version looks terrible on my iPhone. Sentences are cut off at the edges, once you click on a story there’s no way to go back to the homepage, and they hid the buttons to go back after viewing videos (I found it by accident). KING-TV has the best local news and

Overall the new layout with this update seems good but not allowing a profile setting option for dark mode makes the app almost unusable at night which is when I usually read the news.
