This app has helped me make so many more foods than i thought i could make! Its a amazing app with free benefits! 🤓 i love to cook so this app has really helped me cook a whole lot more!

I still think this is a great cooking app—easy to follow directions with beautiful illustrations. I have had this app for several years. However, with the introduction of the premium choice, I feel like those who do not wish to upgrade are sent less appealing recipes. In fact, I haven’t seen anything I wish to cook in a while—it’s mostly a repeat of older recipes or bleh recipes. One wonders what the premium people are getting…So, it’s like anything these days…everyone wants your dollar…

I really wanted to like this app; it’s beautiful and easy to use. However, the app really, really wants you to just choose a meal plan that it made based on your criteria instead of letting you choose from a list recipes. Plus, the recipes that you can find tend to be very…fancy. I don’t know about you, but I don’t tend to have pumpernickel bread, fancy cheeses, or German beer laying around just to make a single meal. Kaptain Cook has inspired our evening meals! The meals are easy enough for week day yet gourmet enough for company. The step by step visual prep is perfect for my husband. I love the variety. So easy for meal planning. KC has made my life easier - seriously. Sometimes it’s difficult to find the exact recipe I’m looking for via the filter but it seems they are improving that aspect and it helps to save into ‘want to cook.’
