LED Strip Light Controller app

I bought myself a light strip so I could have LED lights. My remote isn’t working for it anymore, so I decided to try to download what I thought was the best overall rated app. Ofc the app looked great. Had amazing features and of course when I was just about to add my strip to my Bluetooth- boom. It says I need to play about 5 bucks a month? I already pay for my electric bill so why should I have to pay for an app just to change the color of my light strip.. I feel like it’s all just a scam for

It lets me connect but the problem is that when i try turning it on it only turns on for half a second so technicaly u have to pay to use the led lights

Overall it seems like a very well made app for the “Bluetooth led lights” except for the fact that it doesn’t even work at all I am paying 5$ a week for nothing?!? That is very expensive for a piece of nothing that doesn’t even work!

I had recently gotten my own LED lights and set them up and got this app for it. Only thing that bugs me is the fact you have to PAY a subscription just to get any color you want. Because I wonder if I were to lose the remote then I would have to only get four colors to choose from.
