★★☆☆☆Price for premium went up to $8 per week
Fee of premium subscription is not $2.99/month as it says in the app introduction! After I downloaded it, it says the fee is $7.99/WEEK. $32 per month for a premium subscription to translate cat talk! This is the craziest price I have ever heard of for an in-app subscription. And why giving people wrong information to make them download the app, then realize they were tricked?
★★★☆☆Pretty Cool
This seems to be a pretty neat app and it seems to work well. In the free version you can’t auto translate and after each translation you have to sit through 30 seconds of ads to see your result. Very cool but no way am I paying $8 PER WEEK for this. I understand app developers need to and have the right to get paid but that is outrageously expensive.
★★☆☆☆Entertaining but inaccurate and not worth it
This review is for the free version. I gave this a try and it was not worth it. I started by following the cat around, trying to hit the ten second record button to record the meow. I gave up after five minutes and started cleaning the office. The cat started meowing because it wanted to play. I got a recording. I then waited through a minute of commercials and the app then spat out the translation “I’m in pain.”. Really? A hundred dollars a year so my cat can be a drama queen? Nope.

I have had this app since it was in beta and even pay for the subscription service. I have the app updated to the newest version but it keeps telling me to update, trapping me in a loop where I can’t use the app anymore essentially. I really hope this gets fixed because I’ve liked this app for a long time.
