★★★★☆ Great MPD app - hope more features are coming
This app is so much better than the MPD app I'd been using on my iPhone. Like the notes say, it doesn't take forever loading the catalog every time you use it. It is really sleek and simple to use. I do hope that there are more features in the works. For instance, there should be an easy way to add an entire album with a single tap/swipe. Also it would be great to browse by more data points (e.g. by artist, or album.) Thanks for making a great new MPD app.
★★☆☆☆ Hopefully this is just the beginning...
Didn't see any reviews, but want to support mod client development, so I tried it.
It's got a very clean/simple interface. I really liked the help that comes up - makes it very easy to learn how to use it.
However there's no album art. There's also no way to select outputs (my mpd server can send to any of 4 different pairs of speakers).
So after a brief examination, it seems that mPod is a far superior app. Hopefully this one will develop over time and I'll update my review if it does.
★★★★★ Wonderful!!!
Can't be easier- spins right up. Easy to use interface, solid and quick performance. I apologize for my earlier review (didn't see it appear, but changing it now) that claimed it didn't work- was my own fault. If anyone has a problem with the app not connecting to their MPD server, be sure you enable your MPD server to listen on external interfaces first check your MPD conf file. (App dev- you should add this helpful hint on a cxn failure to avoid confusion)
★★★★☆ Settings for one server only...
So far it works great. My only complaint is that I'm wanting to replace MPOD with MPDluxe and while MPOD lets you configure it to use multiple MPD servers, apparently MPDluxe does not. If it did I'd rate it higher.
★★★☆☆ Good app but...

For several years I have used MPoD and have been very satisfied but now that has been abandoned I have started looking for a replacement. This app meets most of my needs but it only allows for one MPD server configuration. I have 3 MPD servers, one in each of 3 rooms. I use raspberry pi servers to connect to various internet radio station. A name for the server and the ability to configure multiple servers would probably boost this up to a 5 star app for me.
