I purchased this game after hearing about it and reading that it supports two-player co-op. Unfortunately it looks like the mobile version of the game doesn’t actually support simultaneous two-player mode (or I couldn’t figure it out). I bought the game on Nintendo Switch instead and requested an App Store refund.
This is a gorgeous game. It’s obvious the developers put a lot of love and energy into this game. I loved the inclusion of the spirits as a key element of the game.
However, as others have said, the controls are super finicky right when you need them to be reliable. When I try to do a wall jump to escape a polar bear, I really need the jump button to work properly every single time. I was a little weary when I read some a review saying the controls were a bit wonky as from watching gameplay, I knew you had to switch between characters and certain controls that give each character their own abilities. Still, I couldn’t pass on this beautiful story and upon downloading it I found that the controls were easy to navigate and I had absolutely no issues.
