I have NoteWorks downloaded on my iPad and have enjoyed recommending it to my piano students. I’m excited to now be able to recommend NoteWorks to my students who do not own an iPad but own an iPhone! The iPhone version is much like the iPad version, except the NoteWorks has added an improved way for players to select the range of notes on the staff they would like to practice during the game. I use NoteWorks in my piano studio. It is one of my top 5 favorite note reading apps to use. Not only can you customize what needs to be learned or reviewed, but it has the option to answer with solfege (do, re, mi), a keyboard, or letter names. The iPhone/iPod version is smaller but very convenient for those who do not have an iPad. I highly recommend this game.

This is a nice little app that will help you learn to read sheet music and learn where the notes live on the piano and guitar. Good for both kids and adults. Good for practice anywhere when your instrument isn't handy.
