Very nice remake, unfortunately doesn’t support gamepads. If it did, it would be a 5* game to me.
Download/purchase the Dotemu versions for gamepad support.

The game handles quite well, even with touch controls. If you like R-Type and are on the fence because you’re unsure about the mobile experience, I say go for it. Sure, it doesn’t match the experience of a proper setup, but it’s a cool way to experience the classics while you’re away from your CRT.

The game R Type Dimensions has a whole lot of cool features. I can use the slow mode and it eases the difficulty during gameplay. It also makes passing through harder stages less tight.
