User Reviews and Ratings
★★☆☆☆Inaccurate.
They apparently calculate location averages with little regard for the accuracy of the contributing gages.
★★☆☆☆Not accurate.
I downloaded this app and checked it against the mechanical rain gauge in my yard. I work at a golf course and thought it would be nice to know what the rainfall amounts were in the different parts of the course before I got to work. Unfortunately, the app was not accurate at all. When we received 3” of rain, the app showed .70” of rainfall.
The app uses Doppler radar estimates for there information, not actual rainfall numbers.
★★★★★On the road again!
Extremely nice way to monitor the weather over a large distance! Knowing the amount of rain in each location can tell you a lot more about the conditions for driving a long trip!
★★★☆☆Love this except …
Raindrop is a great app … just wish that I had more control over what the page for a single location would show …
1) * Time Stamp * (important)
2 ) show all time periods for a single location
★★★★★Love this app !
I wish I had known about this app before, I really like keeping updated on rainfall/snowfall amounts and upcoming weather.
