Let me start by saying this is the single most used app on my devices. If you are reading this review, buy the app. It’s literally my favorite app. However, a recent update seems to have broken the ‘play in the background’ ability, when you can also put on your own music. This hasn’t been the case in the past and hope it gets fixed soon.

My daughter introduced me to Rainy Mood 8 years ago when I was staying with her in a small apartment. I loved the soothing sounds of a real thunderstorm. Other apps I had heard before always had a loop that would not allow me to rest as well. I had the app on my IPad and didn’t bring it on one of my trips and couldn’t sleep without it.
