I've used Remote for years. While I take advantage of only a fraction of its features, it's a fantastic resource. I use it most frequently to start / quit / restart apps on one of my Macs. These apps usually do things in the background or are required for another remote app. It's also ideal in remote viewer mode wren there's a dialog on the Mac that prevents an app for doing something as well as setting Privacy permissions and Little Snitch alerts.
