Why do we have to watch ads to unlock materials every time you enter the game?

OK so you’re telling me now I have to watch an ad to get the lava element but the other update or the last update I didn’t have to that just doesn’t make sense and when I try to watch the ads, it says preparing ads and I’m like what and once I get an ad after that that works like remove the feature
