★★★★☆ New update and we’re back in business
I updated to the latest version on my iPad Pro (iPadOS 15.5) and lost everything—all my songs, all my shows, all my notes. Supposedly the database format was changed. I see no way to update the database in the app. Have a gig in two days; really hope this fixed by then. UPDATE: The developer released a new update to fix the issue I was having. Everything seems to be working again. I don’t use 90% of the features in this app but, for what I use it for, it works.
★★★★★ Powerful App, Well Supported
I just did an app update 2022-08-01 72/73 and found some issues which I reported to the developer who responded immediately and had fixes within a day or so. One of the issues was due to the latest iOS 15.6 update from Apple, not the app itself. I have been using this app actively on gigs for many years now before BandHelper and have seen it mature in its sophistication and breadth of capabilities. Of course, with sophistication comes a level of complexity that needs to be mastered, but the eff
★★★★★ Missing songs…..Found!
Had 400 songs with tabs and recordings. Still have them on my old iPad 4. Just noticed on my iPad Pro 12 that now I have 142 songs. The rest are gone. Shows them in my documents, but they aren’t highlighted. Can’t figure how to get them back. Cut a help desk ticket and immediately was contacted by Arlo Leach who helped me through my issue. He sent me a revised database and all my songs are back. Great customer service! If you are having this issue contact the help desk. They just saved me from
★★★★★ Great App - Most used on my iPad
From the custom fields to the smart lists, this App really helps me organize my sets. I can track progress on songs I’m learning, as well as songs already in my rotation. I can quickly finds songs that might go well together in a show(similar BPM, same key, same style, etc…). This App replaced all my spreadsheets I used to have. And they always keep improving and fixing issues fast.
★★★☆☆ New iPad… no tracks
I have been using this app for almost 10 years. It’s been perfect for all of my shows. Many of them require the use of backing tracks. I got a new iPad, and transferred my database. Everything is there except my tracks and it’s not connecting to my iTunes. I put in a ticket asking for help but haven’t getting any response. I’d hate to buy a new app and start all over but I need to add new songs and tracks.
