The app causes my entire snapcast setup to stutter, simply, it does not work. Also the UI has significant problems; there isn’t a way to hide hidden players. I’ll be switching back to the web interface on my iPad which works just fine except for background playback. Would be happy to pay $5 for an app that worked, even better if it was open source so someone could fix it even if the dev doesn’t have time. Edit: after visiting the github page I see that this app or its framework is open source. T

Does what it says and lets me control all my snapcast devices that have ever connected to your server and even allows group naming. Even the snapweb interface doesn’t have this many features! Pressing play in the app connects as another snapcast client and can play background audio on my phone without fuss. Newly added support for dark mode and iOS media controls are working great. Playback is stuttering badly. I read somewhere that the iOS time stamp is not accurate enough for synched playback. I don’t really need playback in my phone so not really a problem for me. All clients appear twice on my screen. Even old clients that are no longer on my network. This app needs a setup option to hide unused/unwanted/old/duplicate clients.
