★★★★★A good app that needs nextgen updating
This app has treated me well for some time now. But with the new generation of widgets out there, it’s time for an update. This is still the old style of widget that exists to the left of the homepage. But again, it has served me well.
★★★☆☆Was a good app but I can’t get it to work again.
Ever since the updates to the watch the watch app appears to be broken for me. It will find my system and will sometimes play and pause but it will absolutely not control the volume. The iPhone app appears to be doing its job though it constantly has to refine my system seconds after I just used it. The watch app has been removed and reinstalled repeatedly for me with no luck controlling the system consistently.
★★★★☆Simple to set up and use
Using with a phone and watch on S1 speakers. Works really well for control of playback and volume.
No grouping settings, so maybe not what you need if you swap groupings quite a bit.
Would give it 5 stars but the UI could use some polish:
- No clear indication when playing vs paused on watch.
- Volume control is increment/decrement with no indication of current volume. Would be nice to have a slider.
★★★★★Handy!
Handy app for something Sonos should support, but doesn’t.
After I got a new phone I had to find the “customize” link on the Home Screen.. not the plus to add a widget.
Support replied in literally 2 minutes with the answer to my question.. amazing! Now I can see and control Sonia from the Lock Screen again. Yay.
★★★★☆Need newer widget capability
Works well enough, but I’d much rather see this in the native widgets rather than being stuck on the Today screen.
