Game has gotten better over the last 10 years with more free to play options but this era unit upgrade is just lame and insulting. It’s a duller version of the main game itself. How and why are these “era units” any different from the hundreds of other characters. It’s insulting to the time and effort I’ve put into the rest of the characters to just switch importance to these era units. I’ve spent years on and off playing and building up my rosters. At its bones, it’s honestly a great game. But right now, the greed implemented by Capital Games is egregious. I was an occasional spender, but the new Coliseum mode and character era has made it to where you have to PRE-ORDER your character if you wish to spend money on doing so. Pay to win is already not really fun to deal with, but to not even get the instant gratification is a lazy and greedy approach.
