★★★★☆Promising App
The app looks pretty powerful now that it can record video. A couple of things I'd like to see are:
1. The ability to go back in time beyond the current year, if this is currently possible, the year needs to be shown and there needs to be a way to quickly set the date you want. I'm interested in seeing where the sun was 1500-4000 years ago, and I need to the ability to quickly get there.
2. Would be nice to also have that information on the video.
3. A help section.
Would to see those in
★★★★☆Great app for visualizing sun's path
I was putting in a sun shade for our patio and wanted to make sure that I positioned it correctly to shade the area. App was great because I set the location and then held it up in the sky at various locations to simulate where the sun would be.
Only found a minor bug where the times shown during the day were reversed. That is, when I would point near sunrise it would show the time at sunset and visa versa. Problem would resolve if reselected my location in the settings menu.
★★★★☆Great, but
A simple option for using non military time would be greatly appreciated. Every time I use this app my enjoyment of its effectiveness and simplicity is completely frustrated by having to f@:$;ing transpose the hours. It takes me out of the moment and interrupts my creative flow when location scouting. would give 5 stars if this gets fixed.
