Tardigrain is a granular synthesiser for iOS that runs standalone or as an AU plugin. Sounds are created by taking smaller fragments of a sample and playing them back in a non linear fashion, with settings for grain size, direction, step size and more.

Thanks for the new update! But!!! Please make microphone monitor recallable for saved sessions. This is one of my favorite reverbs as an auv3 effect but i have to open each instance and “press” the monitor button to activate the the reverb effect. Thanks so much!

Time for a new review. First, Tardigrain has been around a lot longer than the 5-year App History implies. :-) What? Some 15-18 years? I found Tardigrain now long after it first was released. Way before Alligoopa’s demise. My first Allihoopa offering was from Tardigrain. Several Japanese members were excited that not only did I know of the tiny beast AND I made a song to them. lol I have always had Tardigrain on my mobile device!
