★★★☆☆Not good for tourists
As noted in a previous review and the developer notes you can’t set up an account outside of the UK or Europe. I am planning a trip to London and want to use the app to pay for transportation to and from LHR as well as around London. Unfortunately I will have to wait until I am mired in the chaos of arriving at LHR to set up the app. It does look like the app will be useful once I get there though.

A very helpful app. When taking a route that requires several bus changes it would be helpful to indicate which side of the road to meet the next bus. Especially for us out of town riders who don’t have a feel for which end of the line a bus is headed for.

★★★☆☆Good App but some issues
I regularly go to the UK, from the US. Not being able to login to my card history from abroad is a big issue. TfL is the only agency that has this issue. Meanwhile I can check my LA, Phoenix, and SF trips from the UK without issue.
Please fix this and allow us to manage our trip history and reload oyster from the US! I like to load fare onto my card before I land.
