★★★★★Much more than a trail guide!
Most of us only know trail forks as a guidebook for mountain biking. But did you know about the other dozen features? For example you can log trail work time, sync it with strava, and change layers for different riding seasons. Love this app. Well built and vital to the cycling community
★★☆☆☆Just Does Not Work
I have used Trailforks Pro for a year now and it never functions properly to record a ride. It is a great app to see available trails, but is seriously flawed when it comes to creating and tracking rides. Even when I get error messages about app problems and the app saving the ride, it is not retrievable. I just thought it was not user friendly, but I think it is beyond comprehension.
★★★☆☆Good database, bad and buggy app
Good amount of trails for sure, app is awkward to use and really buggy (trail information is code like “{{ info.trail.stat_distance }}” instead of the distance number. It sometimes seems to “lock on” to a location that I pick when I’m searching for trails but every time I load the app it goes back to that location. Subscription wasn’t recognized at one point.
About twice the cost of on x back country, but worse UI, route making, and just overall mapping features. Even more if you do outside plu
★★★★★Duh Best
Best MTB trail app. Can be used with minimal signal to help save you in the wild and in the tame. Get it. It works.
★★★☆☆Needs Apple Watch support
App works okay, but really needs Apple Watch support. It’s a real pain to have to stop and pull your phone out at each cross roads.
